    On April 5, 2024, at the invitation of China Central Television, Chinese Magic Finger pianist Tang Juechen participated in the recording of the CCTV Music Channel’s program “Children’s Voices”. As a piano performer, Tang collaborated with young singer Chen Sihang from the CCTV Galaxy Youth Art Troupe to present the popular hit song “The Wind Rises”. The combination of pure and ethereal vocals with the flowing and emotional piano melody created a harmonious blend, evoking reflections on the past and aspirations for the future under the bright spring sky.

    During the recording, Tang Juchen’s skillful and heartfelt performance brought a touching melody to life, perfectly complementing the beautiful vocals. Together, they presented the audience with a captivating audio-visual feast. For Tang Juechen, performing on CCTV was a significant honor. With his solid musical foundation, exquisite skills, and extensive stage experience, Tang delivered an outstanding performance, successfully completing the program’s recording. His professionalism and talent were highly praised by the directors and staff present.

    About “Children’s Voices”


    “Children’s Voices” is an innovative children’s music program launched by CCTV Music Channel, providing a platform for children and teenagers to pursue their musical dreams and showcase their talents. As the only professional children’s music program of its kind on a national professional channel, it highlights the musical spirit of the new generation. Recorded mainly in a studio setting, the program reflects the vibrant and positive musical expression of children today, using forms such as singing, instruments, traditional Chinese culture, artistic skills, and high-tech performances to nurture a healthy worldview in young participants.


    About Young Vocalist Chen Sihang


    Chen Sihang has long been a lead singer in the CCTV Galaxy Youth Art Troupe and has participated in major national cultural performances, such as the 90th National Day celebrations and the Beijing Expo opening ceremony. He has performed at over 30 large-scale galas, including the June 1st Children’s Day Gala, the July 1st Party Founding Anniversary Gala, and the National Day Gala.Highlights of his career include performing the opening song of Beijing Satellite TV’s New Year’s Eve Gala for the 2022 Winter Olympics and singing “The Same Song” with international youth singers at CCTV’s Lantern Festival Gala. At six years old, Chen starred as young Lin Huiyin in the original musical “Lin Huiyin” by the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater, participating in a nationwide tour.Under the tutelage of soprano Hao Fei from the Central Opera House, Chen has received numerous accolades, including first place in the Beijing division of the Radio Voice National Youth Music Competition and a silver award at the national finals. He has also excelled in piano, winning first prize in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei division of the 3rd Chopin International Youth Piano Open Competition. On CCTV’s stage, he has performed piano and vocal pieces such as “Daylily” and “Listen to the Sound of Autumn”.
